Liquid locker and yield booster - by Evix
Rogue offers the opportunity to acquire governance power over Maverick without having to lock MAV yourself. It also provides an enhanced yield for Maverick's liquidity providers.
The protocol will use LayerZero to be deployed on each chain where Maverick exists.
Summary:
- bpVaults
- rMAV
- ROG
- eROG
- oROG
- Plateform Fee
- Vote market
1. bpVaults
Rogue allows liquidity providers to deposit their bpLPs (Boosted Position LP Tokens) into vaults.
Once the bpLPs are staked, liquidity providers can:
- Earn swap fees just like on Maverick directly
- Earn $MAV (likely through Maverick's incentive program)
- Earn $ROG proportionally for each claimed $MAV.
- Earn other incentives distributed within the boosted positions
LPs also receive tokens representing their share of the vault. Rogue's goal is to make positions usable in DeFi.
2. rMAV
When you lock MAV in Rogue, you receive rMAV (1:1), which is the wrapped token representing veMAV.
The MAV locked in Rogue remains locked in Maverick for the maximum duration, allowing you to fully benefit from it.
With rMAV, you get:
- Voting power while being liquid.
- Trading fees from Maverick (if the fee switch is activated)
- Incentives in $ROG.
- Bribes
- Performance fees
- veMAV airdrop?
Note that during the conversion from MAV to rMAV, you still lose a portion of the governance power, which is granted to another stakeholder in the protocol.
3. ROG
$ROG is Rogue's native token. You can lock it for eROG to acquire governance power over Maverick, especially on emissions.
$ROG is distributed weekly to all participants in the ecosystem to maintain alignment of interests:
- rMAV stakers
- bpLP stakers
- rMAV/MAV LPs
- ROG/ETH LPs
The emission of $ROG will initially follow each claimed $MAV proportionally and decrease over time with MAV emissions.
4. eROG
$ROG holders can lock it for a duration of 1 week to 2 years to acquire eROG.
eROG grants you a share of the accumulated governance power in Rogue. You also receive a share of the protocol's revenue.
(There seems to be a sharing of accumulated power in the protocol between rMAV stakers and eROG holders.)
5. oROG
oROG is a call option token for $ROG. It will be used to issue incentives in the protocol. (Possibly only for LPs)
Once you obtain oROG, you need to exercise it to receive $ROG. The discount on oROG depends on the usage of the protocol (the less it is used, the higher the discount).
6. Platform Fee
Rogue charges a 20% performance fee on the $MAV obtained by LPs, as well as on the fees generated by veMAV holdings.
7. Vote Market
Ballot is a voting module where eROG holders can vote on the direction of Maverick's emissions within the supported Boosted Positions by Rogue.
Bounty is an incentive module where eROG holders can receive rewards in exchange for voting on certain Boosted Positions.
The voting power of eROG can also be delegated, allowing holders to accumulate rewards without the task of voting.
